Application Process

Initial Enquiries
Initially you may want some feedback about whether your project is suitable for LEADER + funding. To facilitate this, you can complete a short (two page) Expression of Interest form. This does NOT constitute an application for funding. If your proposal is deemed eligible in principle you will be advised to go through a full application process. Should your proposal be deemed as ineligible you will be notified and if appropriate, directed towards another funding body.

Full Application

Part A of the application form must be completed ‘online’. This can be done by accessing the following website, www.eugrants.org. Once completed online, and submitted, this Part will automatically be forwarded to COLLAGE Ltd..

Part B of the application form can be downloaded from the above website (www.eugrants.org) or COLLAGE Ltd’s own website www.collage-ltd.com and either complete by hand or word-processed and a signed copy submitted to COLLAGE Ltd.

Please Note:
A full application will only be acknowledged on receipt of both parts (Part A and Part B) of the application.

How the Application is processed
All applications will be subject to an economic appraisal, site visit, and checks with statutory agencies as necessary, to determine eligibility and to collect any additional information that may be required. Existing businesses will be asked for their most recent trading accounts. The application will then be scored against set criteria. Following this, the applicant will be informed of the Board’s decision and either a Letter of Offer will be issued or reasons for rejection provided. The Letter of Offer will be accompanied by a list of eligible expenditure and the amount and percentage of grant aid, against total expenditure.

For monitoring and evaluation purposes, after a final payment has been made, the project promoters will be subject to an inspection from local, national or EU level personnel.
